FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages can attend Samurai Summer Camp?

Samurai Summer Camp is designed for children ages 7–12.

Students are grouped by age and experience level to ensure activities remain challenging, fun, and developmentally appropriate for every camper.

What does my child need to bring everyday?

Each camper should bring a packed, ready-to-enjoy lunch or money if they prefer to purchase lunch from one of the nearby restaurant options. We provide refrigerator space and cabinetry for convenient food and snack storage, along with space for personal water bottles.

Campers should wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing appropriate for active indoor play. Because martial arts training continues during camp hours, students should also bring their uniform each day.

We recommend packing a labeled change of comfortable clothes in case of spills or accidents. Lockers are available for storing personal belongings and non-food items throughout the day.

Does my child need martial arts experience?

No prior martial arts experience is required.

Samurai Summer Camp welcomes both beginners and experienced students. Our instructors introduce foundational Ju Ki Do Martial Arts skills in a structured and encouraging environment where every child can succeed.

Is Samurai Summer Camp just daycare?

No. Samurai Summer Camp is a structured youth development program, not a traditional daycare.

Children participate in guided martial arts training, leadership activities, physical development, and character-building lessons designed to help them grow in confidence, discipline, and focus.

How much does summer camp cost?
